This pandemic came on us all like a hurricane and our lives as we knew it, were turned upside down. As the community starts to get back to some normalcy, precautions should still be taken. Please see below for the additional safety measures we are taking at FTKP.
The mental health and well-being of your children is just as important. Our goal is to get back to the routine of things at FTKP as much as we can. Kids in our care will get to escape the reality of the outside world, and enjoy crafts, games, experiments and fun with friends.
Upon drop-off, and throughout the day, temperatures of children AND staff will be taken and recorded.
We are taking temps EVERY TWO HOURS!
We're asking families to wait outside if another family is checking in/out. We'd like only one family in the front at a time.
ALL staff will be required to wear a face mask during their shift. ALL parents are asked to wear one upon entering our building. Children 5-12 YO are REQUIRED to WEAR one. We HIGHLY recommend children ages 2-4 wear one, but it is not required. CHILDREN UNDER THE AGE OF 2 SHOULD NOT WEAR MASKS
Staff and children will be required to wash hands upon arrival and throughout the day.
ALL toys and structures have been thoroughly disinfected. We have limited the number of toys out in play and will rotate accordingly, sanitizing in between use.
ALL items brought from home MUST be sanitized before and after care at FTKP. This includes any lunchboxes or water bottles brought in. We provide clean linens and blankets if necessary.
Until further notice, we are only accepting ONE YEARS and up!
5/26-6/5 was potty-trained and up. 6/9 until further notice, is one years and up.
We will be staggering meal & snack times, along with table seating during these times. Please allow for flexibility during this time.
The front doors will be open periodically throughout the day, which DOES NOT compromise our security.
Until further notice, we have changed our hours and days of operation. Please click here for this information.
We are limiting the number of children in our care during this time. Calling ahead is highly recommended.
All new Registration Forms should be done online through Procare or paperwork filled out prior to checking in. During this time, we will not allow forms to be filled out in the front area. Please click here for link to Procare
ALL staff and children (including their families) must conduct a self-check prior to entering our facility. If any of the following symptoms are present, we ask that you NOT enter:
Cough & Sore Throat
Muscle Aches
Difficulty Breathing
New Loss of Taste or Smell
Fever at or above 100.4 WITHOUT the use of fever reducing medicine. We monitor temperatures nearly every two hours. If a fever gets near 100, we WILL CALL for immediate pickup!
If any of the symptoms in the Daily Health Check, or in our Health Policy, are present, we ask that you NOT RETURN for at least 72 hours. You MUST remain fever-free for at least 24 hours! We also ask that you get a medical provider assessment to determine the diagnosis. If there is no confirmed diagnosis, we must remain out of our center until the symptoms have cleared.
You and your children MUST remain OUT of our center if any member of your household (or someone you have been close to) has a suspected or confirmed case of COVID-19. You are able to return 14 days after exclusion for exposure or 10 days after exclusion for symptoms IF: at least 10 days have passed after any household member first experienced symptoms AND the household has been fever free for at least 24 hours WITHOUT fever-reducing medicine.
Please notify us immediately if you become aware of any suspected or confirmed case of COVID-19 in your household, occurring within 14 days (before or after) of any member of your household that had been present in our center!
Please be aware of the dangers of COVID-19 and follow all CDC guidelines in your household and when in public. Monitor your health and your children's. We like to err on the side of caution and we ask that your child does not attend our center if anything is suspected. We will call for immediate pickup if we deem necessary, otherwise. Thank you for support in keeping our centers healthy and safe!
